16 Blue - Silver Bracket Champions; 15u - Runner up; 16 Navy - 3rd Overall @ Omaha!
The Whalers' trip to Omaha was such a huge success in June that the organization is happy to announce that the Whalers will return in 2011!
Between playing in the Triple Crown Sports Slumpbuster, participating in the Slumpbuster College Showcase, & watching the college World Series on our nights off, the Whalers had an incredible experience in Omaha, Nebraska.
16 Blue Won the Silver Bracket Championship beating, the Missouri Muckdogs 4-0. Alex Rodriguez & Avery Floyd were named co- mvp's. 16 Blue won 3 of 5 games in Omaha.
15u won 4 of 6 games, before losing in the Silver Bracket Championship. Jason Weiner & Danny Hopkins were named co-mvp's.
16 Navy finished 3rd overall in the Gold Bracket. Steve Miller pitched a shutout to advance Navy to the semi-finals. Miller & Robert Bochetti were named tournament MVP's.
The Whalers will return to Omaha in 2011 as part of their showcase teams' tournament schedules.
